About the Job:
We are looking for a digital-savvy community manager to take control of our online voice and build brand awareness and loyalty. The community manager will be responsible for post as a brand ambassador under their own account to create a strong brand identity. You will be the first point of contact for online fans and followers, thus developing an intimate relationship with the online community.
What you will be doing:
- Engage and interact in our client and public communities using Facebook and other platforms. facilitate and engage in the conversation and in the group
- Answer customer inquiries competently and efficiently, coordinating with internal Customer Service team when necessary
- Prepare and manage activity and task lists for program-related projects and activities
- Follow-up with program participants to ensure that tasks and action items are being completed in a timely manner
- Setting and implementing policies and practices to align with marketing strategies
- Organize, schedule and participate in meetings/events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Virtual event planning and project management including confirming appropriate virtual platform, creation of timelines, thorough and regular communications to attendees, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations, and other communications tools)
- Relay community feedback to relevant personnel in the company
- Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency
- Prepare reports as required
About you:
- You have an Associate degree in a relevant field is a plus
- You have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Community Manager
- You have an experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Your ability to work independently and with a team is impeccable
- Your strong motivation and enthusiasm get the job done
- You have the ability to evaluate, make decisions, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- You have proficient experience working with CRMs and Google G-Suite
